Danny Bryant’s RedEyeBand are very pleased to announce that EMI Records India have signed a licence to distribute their latest album ‘Live’ in their territories of

India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Srilanka and the Maldives.

The initial launch will consist of a track from the Live album on a compilation album, details below.

Following on from that, ‘Live’ will be made available by EMI, as will the band’s subsequent CD’s.

Danny and the band are thrilled that their music is going to heard by and available to people in these Countries, and hope to get many new fans from this!

A message from Danny Bryant 

Well folks, it is coming to the end of 2006, and what a great year it has been for the band.

I want to thank all the promoters, festival organisers and club owners in England, Belgium and Holland who have given my band so many opportunities to play to so many people.

Heartfelt thanks to all of you, without your enthusiasm and commitment to music, the music world which I live in and love would not exist at all, this is a simple fact.

The same big thanks goes to all of our fans in England, Ireland, Wales, Belgium and Holland, so many of you loyal people have become friends of the band and family in the countries we play, we are very fortunate in this and we know it. There are too many names to mention, but you all know who you are!

I have been amazingly lucky this year, with my Fret-King guitar and Marshall Amp endorsements and for securing the backing of Rounder Records Europe, who are releasing the band’s new cd ‘Live’ on their Continental Blue Heaven label. I also want to thank Alan Pearce of Blues Matters Records UK for the past 5 years support and album production too, and for giving me his blessing for our move on to the prestigious Rounder label. 

Looking ahead, 2007 looks set to be another exciting year - the band are already booked for some fantastic Festivals and Clubs in UK, Belgium and Holland, and we have our first tour in Germany coming up in February, which we are all really looking forward to. 

In July our first tour is being booked for America, I have been asked to bring my band over to a great Festival in Nebraska [Playing with Fire], and want to thank the organiser, Jeff Davis, for having the faith to book me on recommendation alone, he can be assured that I will justify this faith and that of any other promoters who book me in the USA. 

To all of you, once again far too many to mention by name, I can only repeat - Thanks for everything and hope to see you again next year.

On Saturday 23^rd September Danny Bryant’s RedEyeBand recorded their 5^th Album LIVE. It was their 1,000 concert! This is their first live recording, something which so many of you have you been waiting for!!

It was recorded at one of their favourite venues - The Flowerpot, King Street, Derby, promoted by Alan Woolley of Raw Promotions.

Richard Hammerton of Purple Studios, Norfolk did his usual sterling job of capturing the band, assisted by Sid, The Flowerpot’s regular mad soundman.

We would like to thank YOU, our loyal fans, for cheering us on. Here you are going crazy.

It is with regret that we have to announce that Dave Raeburn has left the band due to other commitments outside the band, which conflicted with our rigorous touring schedule.

This has been an amicable decision by all parties concerned and we will always have the best and fondest memories of our times with each other on the road during the past two years. We have had some absolutely fantastic times together which we will never forget. 

He has finished his time with the band on the highest possible note, taking part in the recording of our live album on Saturday 23^rd September at The Flowerpot, so his sterling work with the band will be immortalised forever in this way.

On a much more cheerful note, we are very pleased to announce his replacement in the form of Trevor Barr, a drummer with over 20 years experience on the drum stool. We hope that you will all give him a warm and friendly welcome as part of Danny Bryant’s Redeyeband.

As you know Walter Trout is Danny’s mentor and often asks Danny up to jam whenever they are on the same bill. Danny Bryant’s RedEyeBand CD Days Like This is due to be released in December with the title track, Days Like This having a guest appearance by Walter Trout. It was recorded in Purple Studios, Norwich, UK on 24^th October straight after Walter finished his concert at The Waterfront, Norwich.
