Der 26 Jahre junge Danny Bryant hört sich an wie einer, der NIE was anderes gemacht hat, als den BLUES zu spielen .... und das kann er auch!!!

Die Band stammt aus England und wurde 1999 gegründet, da war Danny gerade mal 18 Jahr alt. Mit 19 Jahren spielte er Walter Trout vor und der war total begeistert von ihm und seit dem spielt Danny mit seiner Band u.a. im Vorprogramm von Walter Trout!

Das neue Album "Live" ist bereits seine 5. CD. 9 starke Songs, die sich hinter nichts und niemandem verstecken müssen ... brillianter, ganz klarerer Gitarrensound ... mit viel Druck und dazu eine Stimme, die Gänsehaut verursacht ...

Die Band spielt im Trio: Danny Bryant (Gitarre, Gesang), Dave Raeburn (Drums ... hat die Band aber mittlerweile verlassen und wurde ersetzt durch Trevor Barr) und Ken Bryant (Bass ... und nicht Danny´s Bruder, nein ... sein Dad!)

Überzeugt hat mich die Band wegen ihrer enormen Spielfreude. Alle 9 Songs haben mich im Sturm erobert. Auch der erste Song "Girl From The North County" (Bob Dylan), der genial vorgetragen wird ... Faszination pur and a really great guitar, Danny!!!

Die anderen 8 Songs stammen jedoch ausschließlich aus Danny´s Feder und das beim 5. Ablum und mit 26. Jahren ... ich sag ja, der macht nix anderes. Eine tolle Leistung!!!

Seine Vorbilder, ganz klar SRV, B.Gibbons, J. Winter .... trotz allem hat er seinen ganz eigenen Stil entwickelt, ohne viel Spielerei feuert er die Licks & Riffs raus!!!

Natürlich ist dieser Mann mit seiner Band viel unterwegs .... und auch bei uns hat er ein paar Gigs:

Fazit: Wer Zeit hat, sollte sich diesen jungen Gitarristen unbedingt mal anschauen!!! Die CD ist einfach brilliant und darf in keiner gut sortierten Blues-Sammlung fehlen! 9 live-Stücke, die es verdient haben, öfter gehört zu werden .... bei mir läuft sie schon dauernd in den letzten Tage und ich höre immer wieder Neues ... das Geld für diese CD ist gut angelegt!!!

Listening to the 26 years old Danny Bryant would make you believe he has done nothing but playing the blues.... and he knows how to do that!!!

The band is from England, formed in 1999; Danny was only 18 years old at that time. At the age of 19 Walter Trout heard him play and he was totally impressed with Danny. Since that time Danny Bryant has been Walter Trout's support act many times.

This new album ''live'' is Danny's 5th one already, with 9 excellent songs, worth being played loud and clear ... brilliant guitar sound and a voice that gives you goose-pimples...

Danny Bryant (guitar and vocals), Dave Raeburn (drums ... meanwhile he has left the band and Trevor Barr took his place) and Ken Bryant (Bass guitar.... and not Danny's brother... his Dad!)

The band convinced me because of its enthusiasm. All 9 songs got me by the throat. Like the song "Girl from the north county (Bob Dylan), that is really a brilliant performance ... fascinating, pure and a really great guitar Danny!!!

The other 8 songs are from Danny only, and that is a huge achievement for someone of 26 years old and his 5th album already!!

His influence -. Obviously Stevie Ray Vaughan, Billy Gibbons, Johnny Winter .... however Danny has developed his own style, without any problem he fires the licks and riffs out of his guitar !!Of course this man is on the road very often ... even in Germany he has a few gigs.

Tip: if you have the time, go and see this young guitar player. His CD is just brilliant and should be part of every well-chosen blues collection. 9 live songs, worth listening to many many times... I am listening to this record for days now, and every time I hear something new. The money for this record is well spent!!!
